TRASH Holiday Party
It's that time of year again: time for the club's annual holiday party -- a holiday party that you actually want to attend. This is our yearly opportunity for long-time members, newer members, and everyone in between to share an evening of good beer and German food with fellow club members and their guests.
NOTE: If you plan on attending, you must sign up here at least 1 week prior to the event. You can pay online or pay at the door, but please RSVP regardless so that we have a head count for Penn Brewery.
As with years past, we have a few activities associated with the party:
Commercial Beer Exchange
To participate, wrap one or more bottles of commercial beer (not homebrew), and place them on the table designated at the event. Once all the beer is on the table, you'll have a chance to take home the same number of wrapped bottles that you brought. If you brought three, you can take three, etc. Be sure to wrap all of your bottles, and please don't open any of them at the party.
Share Your Homebrew
I'm sorry to report that the club is only permitted to bring two kegs this year. That means we'll have just one keg each from two pre-selected stewards. However, that shouldn't discourage anyone from bringing along samples of their beer. You are very much encouraged to bring along bottles and growlers so that you can pass out samples and maybe even get some feedback. I realize the 2-keg limit isn't ideal, but that's what's on the table.
This meeting will be devoid of any club business -- just as it should be. Instead, we'll spend a few hours enjoying food and beer from Penn Brewery, sharing some homebrew, and enjoying each other's company. Remember, you can pay online or pay at the door, but you MUST sign up ahead of time to attend!
